Hallie Pahl (she/ they)
Hi! I'm Hallie, a queer neurodiverse therapist affiliated with Affirming You Therapy. I specialize in working with neurodiverse and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities with a personal understanding of the intersectional experiences that come with holding these identities.
My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can show up as your full, authentic self and feel empowered to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. Whether you're navigating a mental health concern, a significant life event, or simply looking to build better coping skills, we'll work collaboratively with your lived experience and personal goals as our guide.
My approach is person-centered and strength-based. I believe therapy is most effective when we meet you exactly where you are. You already have what it takes; together, we'll identify and build on your existing strengths to help you become the best version of yourself.
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate somatic approaches to support grounding and self-regulation in the present moment. My practice is culturally grounded and trauma-informed, as I honor the role that cultural identity and practices play in healing, while remaining mindful of how trauma shapes ongoing feelings of safety and security.
My background includes victim advocacy, crisis intervention, providing support to individuals and families impacted by cancer, and case management and assessment within community mental health settings.
I'd love to collaborate with you on your journey toward healing and growth. Let's get started!
