Adelaide Pote (she/her)
Hi, I’m Adelaide! I’m a queer, neurodivergent woman and a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in Phoenix, AZ. I specialize in relationship therapy for partners of all kinds—including couples, throuples, and polyamorous constellations—with a deep commitment to supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people and their loved ones.
My approach is warm, affirming, and grounded in the belief that every relationship deserves to be a place of safety, authenticity, and emotional connection. If you and your partner(s) are feeling stuck in recurring conflict, disconnected, or unsure how to rebuild trust and closeness, I’m here to help.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work to help partners shift painful patterns, understand each other more deeply, and build relationships where all identities are respected and celebrated. We’ll explore the stories, inner dynamics, and emotional cycles that shape your connection—so you can create a relationship where each person feels seen, supported, and safe to be their full self.
Whether you're navigating transition-related changes, identity exploration, intimacy challenges, or communication struggles, I offer a space where trans and gender-diverse people and their partners can show up fully and thrive together.
Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me in nature, rocking out at metal shows, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, diving into a D&D campaign, or spending time with my spouse and our cat, Small Cat. I’d be honored to support you and your partner(s) in building the emotional safety, connection, and care you all deserve.
