Ryan Kruse (he/him)

Hello, my name is Ryan. I am a neurodiverse-affirming, client-centered therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals discover their strengths and supporting them on their journey toward healing. My passion for helping others began at a young age and led me to pursue a career in therapy. I strive to create a non-judgmental, safe, affirming, empathetic, and comfortable environment that fosters personal growth and healing.

I completed my internship at two therapy practices, one of which was Affirming You. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I supported individuals facing domestic violence, religious trauma, childhood trauma, systemic oppression, substance use challenges, and grief following the loss of a loved one. My decision to stay with Affirming You was strongly influenced by the organization’s commitment to providing gender-affirming care to the community.

In my practice, I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and have experience with Interference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). These modalities allow me to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, values, and goals.

Life throws a lot at us, and sometimes we lose sight of all the beautiful things that make us who we are. My goal is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with those parts of yourself and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
