Stephanie Todd (she/her)
I approach this work through a wide lens, one that holds space for the cultural, systemic, and emotional threads that shape how we struggle and how we heal. I bring an affirming approach to my work with LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and historically oppressed individuals who have felt unseen or misunderstood. I also have an affinity for working with people who look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling underneath, in their relationships, their self-esteem, or their sense of purpose.
If you are seeking support during a difficult season, working through past experiences, navigating grief, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, life transitions or a mental health diagnosis that's difficult to accept or manage, I'm here to help you find your way toward a life that feels more sustainable and true to who you are. I believe you are the expert of your life. My role is simply to offer tools that may be useful and help you connect with the innate wisdom and capacity you already have to heal.
My approach is client-centered and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to work with unhelpful thought patterns, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build flexibility and values-driven action, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation and coping.
Outside of sessions, you'll find me practicing Zen meditation, playing chess, creative writing, and taking wander walks with no particular destination
