Dylan Wilder Quinn (They/ Them)

The world is a challenging place to live in, and we have the ability to heal our wounds, build resilience to new difficulties, and create better lives for ourselves and others.

I am a transmasculine, nonbinary, neurodiverse person in Flagstaff, Arizona. I am currently an MSW student intern at NAU. I am white and come from anti-racist social justice movements, and an intersectional and systems-based perspective is crucial in my work.

Over the last ten years, my focus has been on supporting 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in recognizing their strengths, developing resilience, and envisioning their future. I am lighthearted while also being deeply present in the face of life's difficulties. I work with youth and adults, and parents and family members of 2SLGBTQ+ people.

I support clients in navigating oppressive systems and behaviors from others, and in developing exquisite self-care while facing these challenges. At the same time, I partner with clients to heal when these stressors are impacting their relationships, work, mental health, and future.

We work together to notice which cultural norms aren't working for you and find something that works better.

I use somatic awareness, mindfulness, and client-focused approaches. I have been certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for 2SLGBTQ+-specific stressors and have experience in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and brief substance use interventions.

When I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my pup and friends, running, dancing, and baking treats for friends with dietary restrictions to see the joy on their faces.
